Penn State 杜波依斯, in partnership with Penn State Berks, will offer an SAT preparatory course for high school students this spring. This virtual program will meet weekly, Thursday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. from April 22, through June 3, via Zoom.
Penn State 杜波依斯 has announced the campus Dean’s List for the fall 2020 semester. In recognition of academic excellence, students who maintain a grade point average of 3.50 or higher are named to the Dean's List each semester.
Like the countless trees that have reclaimed 宾西法尼亚’s once cleared forest land, an effort has taken root to help preserve the history of communities founded upon the heritage of the region’s lumber industry. A group of Penn State 杜波依斯 students are helping the Lumber Heritage Region (LHR) to grow the opportunities built upon this foundation.
The Penn State 杜波依斯 校友 Society recognized four outstanding members of the campus community for their accomplishments and contributions to the campus with a virtual awards ceremony and roundtable. The program can now be viewed online.
As faculty members at Penn State 杜波依斯 continue to innovate methods of virtual instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic, some have also developed ways to reach out to the community in unique ways. Director of the Penn State 杜波依斯 Occupational Therapy Assistant program LuAnn Demi worked to adapt her usual fall-prevention program for senior citizens to a virtual presentation via Zoom this October.
